Leitz Prado Leitz Universal

Leitz Prado's - Courtesy Sjaco Karmelk (Sphinx Light Show)

Left - Modified Leitz Prado for lightbulbs 110 V 500W. Heat Filter is adjustable making it ideal for controlling the temperature in boiling slides.

Right - Leitz Universal dedicated to kit slides (often called a 'Splodascope'). Leitz Universals are 24 volt, 250 watt. That seems to be not powerful, but with Leitz lenses (f/2.5 or f/2.8) they project clear and bright.
See www.lightshowsphinx.nl for Kit Slide tutorial.
