Explosive Spectrum Lights

Explosive Spectrum Lights were from Canvey Island, Essex and were the house Light Show at the Middle Earth Club in London's Covent Garden and also The Roundhouse.

Due to the different spellings on posters (see below) there was always a small possibility there was an Exploding Spectrum AND an Explosive Spectrum (although unlikely).

Thankfully Roger Alcindor cleared this up via email recently.

There was only one Explosive Spectrum Light Show, I am Roger, one of the founders together with Trevor, Warren and John. Sadly Trevor passed a few years ago from an aortic aneurysm.

We are all retired now, in our 70’s and 80’s; John and Warren are still in Essex, I am in London.

Those times were truly amazing.

I feel for today’s generation since they will never experience the UK as it was with the freedom that people had at every level.

I am sorry to report that Roger sadly passed away the day after emailing me so I would like to pass on my condolences to his family at this difficult time.

Hopfully we will be able to reach out to John and Warren to finally tell the story of Explosive Spectrum Light Show
