The Chez Club ran between 1970 and 1972 above The Red Lion, Leytonstone E11 and many big bands from the era played there such as Hawkwind, Wishbone Ash, Barclay James Harvest, Slade, The Pink Fairies, The Groundhogs, Stray, Atomic Rooster, Genesis, Patto, Argent & Status Quo.
