Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley

Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley are two of the ‘big five’ poster artists who work out of San Francisco. They took over from Wes Wilson doing posters for The Family Dog and did 26 of the next 36 Family Dog posters.

Rumour has it that Mouse and Kelley’s Family Dog posters prompted surf artist Rick Griffin to move to ‘frisco and start doing poster art.
