Neon Meate Dream

Interestingly named Light Show based in Leeds, UK in 1971 that we are currently trying to find more about, can you help?

The name is taken from a Captain Beefheart song - Neon Meate Dream Of A Octafish

They worked in what appears to be a 'slightly disreputable' club called The Brickhouse on Bakehouse Street in Hull, which was allegedly linked to (or frequented by) Hells Angels back in the day.

The Brickhouse opened in April 1971 but by Christmas Eve the same year had closed down, possibly due to it being an unlicensed venue (formerly part of the Albion Congregational Chapel) or possibly due to the (alleged) issues with Hells Angels, do you know the story of this venue?

Hawkwind played there at least twice, Jethro Tull (TBC), Quiver, Stray, Steve Tilston, as did John Martyn and Uriah Heep amongst others (more below on the advert)

If you can help with more information about this Light Show we would love to hear from you.
