We are "Luminöse Ästhetik 3000", a small light show and light installation collective based in Heidelberg, Germany, consisting of Robert Kühn and Anne Lauscher.

We were both always totally into music and festival culture and fascinated by analog light shows.

One day, we had the possibility to aquire four old but powerful overhead projectors from the employment agency and finally, in 2018, we just started wildly experimenting.

New aquisitions of overhead projectors and slide projectors followed and we enhanced our setup with LEDs, dimmers, automated and manual color wheels, many glass and cristal plates, more slides, prisms, and automated blow plates.

Right now, we have around six OHPs and four slide projectors.

Our main influence along this line were the classic 60s light shows (Joshua Light Show etc.) and accordingly, we still restrict ourselve to purely analog techniques, but enhance it with modern electronic components (e.g., LEDs) and process current societal issues and interpret modern music including but not limited to nowadays
electronic club culture (e.g., Acid Techno).

We have worked with bands such as Malaka Hostel (Ska, Gipsy-Swing), Tren Go! Sound System (Fuzz,
Stoner) and Sigurd Hole Trio (Jazz) and DJs such as Odai Masri aka ODDZ (founder of the first Palestinian techno label).
