We got around to listening and reviewing the new Saturnia album and yes IT’S VERY GOOD!!
Please go HERE to read the review.

Also received recently and being drooled over is the new digital version of Timothy Gassen’s exceedingly good book The Knights of Fuzz. Originally published by Borderline Books and now out of print and rare as hens teeth, Timothy has released a CD ROM version of the book which has been updated and includes music videos and a 26-song, 72-minute audio compilation in MP3 format.
We will shortly be bringing you a full review of this CD ROM and first impressions are that it looks mighty fine....!!  Click HERE to see a sneak of what’s on it.
If you cant wait for our review and need to own one now then check out Tim’s site to read all about it and buy one www.purple-cactus.tv
We still have a massive pile of stuff to review, but we are slowly catching up so you will see plenty of new reviews appearing in the next few weeks of new psychedelia from around the world. There are also some exciting new releases due in the next month or two that we hope to bring you as soon as we get them through so keep your eyes peeled....

Seeing as we are still getting hit with about 8 copies a day of the SirCam virus we thought we would put up a page to tell you how to clean up your systems and stop this virus spreading.
Please go HERE for details and to download a small program that will zap the bastard.

pOoTer and Sir Eel had a good ‘ol vinyl session last night at the Sir Eel residence ‘Broadband Towers’ where we wasted several hours sifting through some long forgotten classics such as Sea Shanties by High Tide, Open Mind by Open Mind, Raw Power by Strange, Wonder Wonderful Wonderland by Plasticland and a quick blast through the Psycho ‘Perfumed Garden’ comps. It was a big nostalgia trip as neither of us have heard these for about 10 years......

We are all rather excited at pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK this weekend, on Saturday morning an advance promo of the new Saturnia album ‘The Glitter Odd’ (Cranium CRM 006) arrived in our PO Box. This is one release we have been looking forward to for some time. We have the album listed HERE if you want to check out the details and a full review will be following VERY soon indeed.
To be honest we have not given it a proper play yet, but suffice to say it is a very clever blend of early Pink Floyd (Piper At The Gates Of Dawn/ Saucerful Of Secrets period) British style classic psychedelia meets modern day psychedelia. The list of instruments used is truly awesome with such delicacies as Theremin, Sitar, Gong, Synths, chimes, Jazz Bass and 60’s effects pedals.
To get yer mitts on one of these following this link:

We finally got around to reviewing the new sh'mantra album, Formula Orange:
This double CD album is an absolute masterpiece of sheer self-indulgence and is quite possibly one of the best albums we have heard so far this year. Formula Orange is a rich, dark and complex tapestry of sound that shouldn't be entered into lightly, but for the Intrepid Traveller who is prepared to go the distance the reward is most satisfying.
There simply is not enough music of this quality and depth being produced today anywhere on the planet and for those of you who fancy something exciting and powerful we recommend entering into the profound world of sh'mantra.
Go HERE to read the review.

Contact sh'mantra direct at contact@shmantra.com or shmantra@hotmail.com, alternatively visit their website www.shmantra.com where you can purchase this CD. If you prefer phone, they are in Australia on 0401 051 419.
Please mention Pooterland when contacting them.

Sir Eel’s new house:
Sir Eel, our resident psychedelic picasso and album reviewer has finally moved house after a long and complicated few months. He is now settling in at ‘Broadband Towers’ and the rest of us here would like to wish him and his family good luck in their new house.
